Many firefighters have found themselves in dangerous situations as a result of rapid changes in weather patterns leading to unpredictable fire behavior. These weather events are often foreseeable through local weather data and forecasts; however, frontline firefighters have traditionally not had easy access to this critical information. The Fire Weather Alert System aims to bridge this gap by providing real-time updates. This system continuously monitors nearby weather conditions and forecasts to alert firefighters of impending hazardous weather. Moreover, it offers convenient access to fire-specific weather data such as RAWS, NWS zone fire weather forecasts, NEXRAD radar data, and more.

 <li>Receive customized weather alerts when wind speed, wind gust, relative humidity, air temperature, and precipitation levels surpass your predefined thresholds.</li>
 <li>Monitoring of RAWS/ASOS stations and short-term forecasts through the HRRR model.</li>
 <li>Specify the monitoring area for your fire.</li>
 <li>Alerts delivered via in-app messages, text messages, and/or email.</li>

 <li>VIEW RAWS DATA
 <ul>
 <li>Select weather stations on the map and analyze data graphically or in tabular format.</li>
 <li>Access data from RAWS, iRAWS, ASOS, and other station networks.</li>
 </ul>

 <li>VIEW SATELLITE HOTSPOTS
 <ul>
 <li>Observe VIIRS and MODIS hotspots on the map.</li>
 </ul>

 <li>VIEW INCIDENT LOCATIONS AND FIRE PERIMETERS

 	 <li>Review incident details including name, type, size, and the latest perimeter (including smaller IA fires).</li>
 	</ul>

 <li>VIEW NWS WATCHES, WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES

 	 <li>Explore National Weather Service Active Alerts visually on the map along with their corresponding details.</li>
 	 <li>Monitor alerts like Red Flag Warnings, Fire Weather Watches, Wind Advisories, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and more.</li>
